Mark Jefferies is one of the world’s most accomplished air show performers.
Ranked at 9th in the World.
He is the current British aerobatic champion having recently won the title for the 4th time.
Mark is 49 years old and has been flying aerobatics for the last 28 years.
In addition to his air show performances Mark runs a busy airfield in the UK where he lives with his wife and 2 children.
His air show career spans over 24 years where he has performed in a wide range of aircraft from jets through to vintage bi-plane aircraft.
Marks skill as an aerobatic pilot is proven by his successful career as an unlimited (top level) aerobatic pilot.
He has represented Great Britain in competitions over many years during the course of which he has won medals at several international competitions.
In the UK Mark has frequently won national championships, first winning at unlimited level in 1994 in an aeroplane that he built himself.

A brief note on my flying experience.
I started flying in 1980 & have flown over 130 different types of aircraft from Microlites to Hawker Hunter and Hawk.
I now have approximately 3000 hrs experience.
British aerobatic champion at all levels throughout the years, British Aerobatic team member 10 times.
Air display flying started in 1984 and now I have flown shows in numerous a/c around Europe and have flown by invitation in Australia & New Zealand.
In 1997 I flew in the southern hemisphere Reno race, Tasmania.
I hold a BCPL with Display authorization issued by the CAA giving display permission to 30 ft fly past and 50ft unlimited aerobatics in group A & B aircraft.
For the L-29 jet and YAK 11 the minimum heights are 100ft fly past and 200ft aerobatics.
Formation qualified as leader of large formations flying with the Aerostars for 4 years in number 2, 4, 6 & 7 positions, also I have flown as a stunt pilot for films and fly in the Aero-GP contests.

Osservate bene il trofeo sfoggiato da Mark Jefferies.
E' il trofeo che spetta al campione britannico di acrobazia Unlimited.

Rappresenta uno Zlin 526, che esegue 1/2 Roll, ad una quota talmente bassa da tracciare un solco sulla pista in erba dell'aeroporto di Hullavington.
Non si trattò di una bravata, ma di una manova estrema a seguito di un cedimento strutturale;l'aeroplano stava perdendo la semiala Sx.
L'autore della manovra fù Neil Williams; l'autore del libro "Aerobatics"..
